In summary, Lisa is amazing! She was our Real Estate Agent for buying a new home. She advised us on the neighborhoods that would best suit us, researched available homes, got us in to see homes right away, and helped guide us in making a winning offer. She did everything from soup to nuts that a great real estate agent should do. We met her at an Open House and were immediately impressed by how knowledgeable and helpful she was without being high pressure. She was the only agent we met at Open Houses that we felt we would want to work with. She helped us look for a home for a few months, but in the end, we decided to wait. She never made us feel guilty for backing off and was cheerful and helpful throughout. Then a few years later, we felt we were ready and started the process again. We knew we wanted Lisa to help us. She knew the area we were interested in the block by block! She talked with us at length to try and discern what we were looking for (we didn't even know!). We must have looked for 5 months, and Lisa was always patient. She was always helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable. She got us into homes early and positioned us so that we could make a good offer if we chose but never pressured us. One time, we were going to put a bid on a house but we were ambivalent. We were gonna sign and I felt so anxious. Finally, she said 'maybe this is not the right home for you and we're so glad she did. It was not the right home for us. But it was a tough time to look as there were few homes on the market, and I thought we'd never find the one we wanted. But she never wavered in her confidence that we'd find the right home. Sure enough, as soon as we walked into our new home we knew it was it. She helped us all along the way, so we could make a winning offer. She lined up all the Inspections, got multiple bids for repairs, and did everything in record time. She'd come over at 8 pm or later to work with our schedule. The best thing was throughout all of this she was always patient. I don't know how she does it. We should have driven her crazy (at least a little bit) - like when we said we wanted a fixer-upper one day and a new home the next! I can't say enough good things about her! If you are looking to buy a home in West LA, Mar Vista, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and I'm sure her territory extends further than that - call Lisa! It will be the best move you could make!

If I could give 100 out of 5 - I would! Lisa is one of the most skilled real estate professionals I know! Over the years - we have been through 5 escrows together and this last one was a move back to CA from Hawaii. That sale was the most challenging situation either of us has likely encountered! Lisa was my agent on the replacement and had to deal with the Hawaii escrow extending over and overdue to buyer's lender issues on my sale. Lisa was able to read between the lines, ask the right questions, and keep it going! If I had not had her on my side - I would have given up on my buyer - but she kept my "eyes on the prize" and was the glue in this particularly challenging deal. Not to mention a pandemic and island quarantine in the mix. I trusted Lisa to the point, I was able to purchase my CA house without stepping foot on the property and it is exactly what I expected - it is a lovely home with the perfect yard for my dogs! It was only by random luck that I contacted Lisa Pound, almost exactly a year ago. Being from out of the area, but with a general and cursory familiarity with different neighborhoods on the west side and all of their nuances, I started my search for a house to move into. During this entire time, Lisa has been nothing but consummate professional, conscientious, and at the same time warm, patient, caring, with the gentle art of knowing how to make a deal happen, while sensitive to all players involved. In short, I found Lisa to be a beautiful human being and a fantastic professional in her field. I know I would want to work with Lisa and I recommend her to friends. Second time using Lisa as my real estate agent in Los Angeles, which is a tough market! To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. We started looking for our first single-family home when I found out I was pregnant, and she drove all over Los Angeles meeting us in various locations as we had very specific criteria in mind (and were more open with the area). It took several months, 4 different house offers, and a baby to land our perfect house, and that was the easy part. Once we had our accepted offer, she was masterful at continuing the negotiations on our fixer, while also helping organize all of the inspections and trades to come to access the house. She was so knowledgeable with all of the legal paperwork, responding promptly to all of our questions as we navigated our first house purchase. We will be in this house for years to come, but I know and trust we will use Lisa again in the future!

Lisa was essential in helping us successfully buy a new home and sell our old home. It was an enormously complex endeavor, dealing with the ever-tricky Santa Monica housing market, and it's really no exaggeration to say that we couldn't have done it without her.
