Specializing in seafood and coupled with complimentary seaside views, Gladstones continues to be a California institution. The seafood is fresh, the steaks are cooked to perfection, and the lobster macaroni and cheese is comfort food elevated to its best.
The Draycott melds a locally-sourced and seasonally-based California perspective with a nod to its British inspiration. It is owned and operated by Marissa and Matt Hermer and is located within Palisades Village. It is a polished, personable, and peaceful dining establishment.
Palisades Village is a walkable curated marketplace in the area known as the “village” Downtown. It has over 40 chic shops combining a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. It's a concentrated hub of film, food, and fashion. It is also home to the luxurious cinematic experience of Bay Theater, the endless variety of upscale grocery shopping at Erewhon Market, and the cultivated craftsmanship of Cuyana.
Things to Do
With almost 100 years of history, the Riviera Country Club, designed by George C. Thomas, serves as one of the finest representations of golf in the United States and the world. The Riviera hosted major events, including the U.S. Open (1948), The U.S. Senior Open (1998), PGA Championship (1983,1995), and the 2017 U.S. Amateur Championship. It is the home of The Genesis Invitational and will host the U.S. Women's Open in 2026 and the Olympics golf tournament in 2028. The country club houses a junior and adult tennis academy as well with 24 tennis courts.
Displaying a glimpse into the culture of the ancient world, The Getty Villa Museum showcases artifacts from Greece and Rome. The building is a recreated Roman Country House with a large garden area with covered walkways, a reflecting pool, and intricate sculptures.
Accessible via Temescal Gateway Park, the beautiful Temescal Canyon Trail provides under three miles of serene hike. It has the benefits of shady wooded areas and pristine views of downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.
The former estate of humorist and actor Will Rogers, Will Rogers State Historic Park lies in the Santa Monica Mountains. It includes the relatively short two-mile hike around the former residence known as Inspiration Point Loop and the comprehensive 70-mile trek known as Backbone Trail. Aside from hiking, the area is also prime for picnics, polo matches, and outdoor film viewing.
Fourth of July celebrations are a yearly highlight in Pacific Palisades with both 5 and 10-kilometer runs, a parade, a best-decorated bicycle contest for children, fireworks, and a concert.
